SunCoast Cathedral Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) began meeting in mid-February 1995 and from its inception has experienced phenomenal growth. The group set a denominational record for attendance at a preliminary planning meeting when 78 people turned out to begin establishing the new work in the greater Venice/Port Charlotte area.
