Each year, at the annual Coronation Festivities of the Imperial Courtof Iowa, Emperor VI Troy Haasis will award at least one $1,000 scholarship to an applicant who has met the established criteria set forth in the bylaws and guidelines of the Rainbow Unity Foundation. The total number of scholarships and each dollar amount will be determined by the funds available for distribution each year. The Rainbow Unity Foundation was established September 25, 1999 by Emperor VI Troy Haasis.

Our purpose is to provide an information and referral center for the mutual support of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, transgendered persons, their families, friends, allies and the community at large.

A support/activist group on Cornell College's campus for GLBT and their allies.

5. The Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgendered Union   Site Details  
Educating and empowering the community as one of the oldest state university and continuously funded GLBTA student groups in the US!

6. Iowa State Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Student Services   Site Details  
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Student Services is a safe space for all members of the university community to explore aspects of sexual orientation and gender issues in an open and non-judgmental atmosphere. LGBTSS is committed to providing information and education that enhances the educational experience and overall quality of student life on the Iowa State campus.

7. ISU LGBTA Alliance   Site Details  
The Alliance's Mission is to educate the community on lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender issues; to support members of the community who are coming to accept their sexual orientation; to provide a source of safe and responsible social interaction with the LGBTA community; to provide resources for health-related issues; to strive to eliminate homophobia; and to provide information and moral support to persons wishing to become involved in political advocacy.

8. Stonewall Resource Center   Site Details  
The Stonewall Resource Center (SRC), established at Grinnell College in 1986, provides a comfortable environment for study, relaxation, or recreation. Its primary function is to serve as a resource and safe space for GLB students, faculty, staff, and their allies.

9. PFLAG - Iowa Chapters   Site Details  
We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively.
