1. The Fast and Fabulous Cycling Team   Site Details  
Fast and Fabulous, New York's lesbian and gay bike club, started when triathletes needed to train for Gay Games IV in 1994. We were all members of Front Runners New York, and haven't found any reason to discontinue that affiliation. Recognizing that not everyone would be able to cycle together, Bob Nelson drew up ride lists, one column marked "Fast" and the other - it would be impolitic to call the others "slow," so he settled on "Fabulous." And the name stuck.

The Village Dive Club was founded in October of 1989 by April Gallo, who wanted to meet other gays and lesbians who shared her passion for diving.

Gotham Volleyball is a mostly gay (but straight friendly!) sports organization that encourages competition in a friendly and supportive atmosphere.

a not-for-profit organization formed to provide its membership with expanded opportunities to play recreational and competitive tennis. The organization also serves as an alternative social forum for lesbians and gay men.
10. The New York City Gay Hockey Association (NYCGHA)   Site Details  
The New York City Gay Hockey Association (NYCGHA) is New York’s first official gay hockey organization. We provide an environment free of harassment and discrimination for members and friends of the LGBT community to play ice hockey and fulfill their athletic aspirations.

The NY Ramblers was formed in 1980 and is the first gay soccer team ever formed.  The original members played in an area of Central Park known as the "Rambles", hence our monicker.

Club events actively promote both the sport of motorcycling and brotherhood in our community. Group rides, scheduled throughout the riding season, provide the opportunity to explore regional riding venues and to enjoy the comradery of the group experience. Social events are held to both bring the members of the organization closer together and to help others get to know the membership.
