The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of the Ozarks supports the well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) persons in the greater Springfield, Missouri region by organizing and sponsoring community activities and by increasing public understanding and appreciation of GLBT citizens.
A resource group for crossdressers, transgenderists, transsexuals, androgynous individuals, and those who care about them.
The mission of the LGCC of GKC is simply to "build community." We meet this mission by providing resources, information and monthly activities to our brothers and sisters in the LGBT community.
The purpose of Common Ground is to promote and maintain a healthy and positive environment for gay, lesbian, and bisexual individuals and their supporters. Our goal is to raise awareness by promoting a realistic image of our community through educational and social events.
