The GLBTA was established for the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, & Transgender students of San Jose State University and replaces the organization formerly known as GALA (Gay and Lesbian Association). The GLBTA is open to all SJSU students, faculty, and friends, as well as those from other nearby schools.
The Gay and Lesbian Center is a research center devoted to the documentation of lesbian and gay history and culture by collecting, preserving and providing access to material on all aspects of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered experience. The website includes over 90 photographs of the Center and its resources.
