moqa - the middlebury open queer alliance has a diverse membership - gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender; queer & questioning; students who choose not to identify; straight allies. Despite``questions about the meaning of "open" in the group's title, it does not mean that all the members are out or decided about their sexuality. On the contrary, the members make up the entire spectrum of``outness, from being totally closeted, or out to the world, to somewhere in between.

We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. The Free to Be GLBTA was established as a student run organiztion to provide gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, and ally students with a safe space in which to come out, plan activist or political activities, and just have fun.

Pride Vermont is dedicated to raising awareness, visibility and education of the Vermont community to GLBTQA issues. In 2000, we are going statewide providing a month long calendar of events, as well as our annual festival in Burlington. This festival looks like it could be huge this year, with Lea DeLaria and Scott Thompson speaking in the morning, to the parade up Main and Church, to the festival featuring the best talent Vermont has to offer!!
The Ally Group is a campus club at Saint Michael's College advocating for Human rights for all people regardless of sexual orientation.
