With hate crimes against our people on the rise, we must begin to counter these threats by direct action. The Invictus Project is a place where you will find information as to where the hate crimes are being perpetrated and how to respond as a people who will no longer accept the violence and hate directed against us. You will find ways to start your own Gay Defense League in your area and take back our streets.

TWAFA works to support and protect minority communities from the threat of fascist and neo-nazi attack (described as the far right in the US). We are based in the north east of England and have good links with the gay and lesbian community. TWAFA monitors fascist activity, advises local councils and the police on hate crime, offers training to local groups and agencies, directly supports the victims of fascist and racist attack.
Founded in 1980 by a group of civic and religious leaders concerned about the rising tide of intolerance sweeping our nation, People for the American Way seeks to counter the forces of social discord and fragmentation. The group is a source of information on the antigay agenda of the religious right, providing thorough research and hard-hitting advocacy in response to the Right's assault on sexuality education and AIDS awareness
Prejudice is a vicious poison that affects all of us, particularly our children. The only cure is to replace ignorance with knowledge. If bigots can teach people to hate, Barnes and Noble and the Anti-Defamation League can teach them not to hate.
Citizens Against Homophobia is a group that uses mass media campaigns to reduce homophobia.
