The Melbourne Gay and Lesbian Chorus (MGLC) is one of Australia's premier Gay and Lesbian Choirs. Comprising of 60 voices, there are roughly equal numbers of both men and women covering the four main voice sections.
The Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire was founded in February 1993. With a total of eight singing members, our first performance took place in March of that year at Tilley's Cafe. Since then, we have performed a diverse range of concerts, including combined events with the Sydney, Wollongong, Melbourne, Adelaide, Auckland and Perth gay and lesbian choirs, in 1995, 1996 and 1997.
