Boston's Gay Tennis League
The Miami Mavericks Tennis Club is the local chapter of the Gay and Lesbian Tennis Alliance (GLTA). The Miami Mavericks is an active organization whose members share an enthusiasm for tennis, friendship and community involvement. We provide our members with the opportunity to play tennis at a recreational and competitive level.
Our objective is to provide a friendly environment for tennis enthusiasts to compete and socialize through scheduled tournaments, practice sessions, social events and meetings. This club is as competitive or as social as you make it!
Since 1978, when the Los Angeles Tennis Association was first established, the organization has grown to over 500 member sign-ups annually. We pride ourselves as being the largest gay and lesbian tennis organization in the world.
