Northwest Rainbow Alliance of the Deaf (NWRAD) established on July 25, 1981.
The Friend-To-Friend Project is a multi-site community building and education project taking place in Washington State. Health educators are currently working in the following communities: Bellingham, Everett, Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver, and Spokane. Activities associated with FTF include: internet cafes, coffee house chats, workshops to enhance communication skills, special events, and community forums.

SEAMEC is a non-partisan civic organization that rates candidates running for political and judicial office in Seattle, King County, and the State of Washington. SEAMEC evaluates candidates on their knowledge of, record of proven activism for, and commitment to the concerns of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered (GLBT) communities.
