A resource group for crossdressers, transgenderists, transsexuals, androgynous individuals, and those who care about them.
The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of the Ozarks supports the well-being of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender (GLBT) persons in the greater Springfield, Missouri region by organizing and sponsoring community activities and by increasing public understanding and appreciation of GLBT citizens.
We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively.
The KC Pioneers is a Leather/Levi social club. The members work together to help the leather and gay community to grow stronger and be better understood and accepted.
The mission of the LGCC of GKC is simply to "build community." We meet this mission by providing resources, information and monthly activities to our brothers and sisters in the LGBT community.
