As mainstream and queer culture continue to merge, gay and lesbian film festivals are becoming a common staple throughout the country. The NCGLFF sends a national signal that North Carolina supports as well as nourishes a thriving LGBT community.

To encourage and promote the development of services for persons with AIDS and/or HIV infection, additionally, to raise money to provide financial assistance, outreach and education to realized needs within the local gay and lesbian community. To encourage the growth and healthy diversity, creativity and communication within the gay and lesbian community and to honor these accomplishments through grand celebration.
The Cape Fear Fearless Film Series features exciting, entertaining, and community building films each month for the Wilmington community. Currently all of our films are being shown at the City Stage theater, 21 North Front Street in Historic Dowtown Wilmington. This old, turn of the century Masonic Temple feartures a GREAT bar as well as an incredible place to show film. It is all about community!
