The Houston Pride Band is a local non profit organization providing musical entertainment for the Gay and Lesbian community.The band celebrates it's 20th anniversary this year. We are a member of Lesbian and Gay Bands or America, a national group comprised of bands from all over the country.

Simply put, we are a group of gay men and women who love to Country Western Dance. The group began in August 2000 largely through the efforts of our first Chair, Dave Hayes. Texas Twisters is Dallas/Fort Worth's only gay country/western dance club.
