This is a friendly social group for Gay People in Rowan County NC and surrounding areas. This is not a group for hook~ups. It is for people seeking friendships outside the typical bar scene. This group is for making friends and discussing gay issues. Personals are allowed Pictures of yourself, friends and your Gay family are encouraged. Ideally for people to meet ,talk, and set up get Togethers (such as cookouts, brunches, and other social events.
Our chapter of PFLAG provides Support for parents who have just learned that their child is gay, and for the GLBTQ persons who want desperately to have their parents and family understand. We provide Educational materials to enable families to understand each other. And we Advocate for civil rights and against harassment and bullying.

Wilmington Women of Adventure is a group of women dedicated to finding and enjoying adventure (ie boating, golf, kayaking, beach volleyball, bicycling, camping, hiking, rappelling, team sports, mountain climbing, softball, scuba diving, and much much more). Wilmington Women of Adventure is a place to meet friends or find women with common interests.
