We are charged first class taxes but denied first class rights by not being able to serve in the armed forces and receive the salaries and benefits paid to straight men and women in uniform. Nor can we receive the benefits accorded to married couples. In fact we subsidize heterosexuals who can take advantage of these rights and benefits.
Uniting American Families Act news and forums for bi-national couples and a call to action for all GLBT to help us. Immigration law recognizes it's excessively cruel to keep family members apart, but forbids the GLBT community from sponsoring our loved ones for immigration purposes. Many of us have to commit to very un-American lives or face consequences. This site explains why you should help us.
