Southern Country Houston is a Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender (and friends) Country Western Dance Club. We are a 501(c)3 charity. Our club works to promote country western dancing, activities, and music through community service, dance workshops.

Simply put, we are a group of gay men and women who love to Country Western Dance. The group began in August 2000 largely through the efforts of our first Chair, Dave Hayes. Texas Twisters is Dallas/Fort Worth's only gay country/western dance club.
The Heart of Texas Hoedowners, a non-profit dance organization, was established in the summer of 2001 to promote the enjoyment of country/western music and dance in the Austin, Texas area. The group provides a comfortable dance environment and organized learning opportunities to the gay and lesbian community. Although events are conceived with this segment of the central Texas population in mind, the group does not discriminate. We enthusiastically invite everyone to join us and participate in our activities.
Our Mission is to promote Country Western dancing, activities and music to all persons without regard to age, race, sex, religion, national or cultural origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
The Oak Lawn Soccer Club of Dallas is a non-profit, predominantly gay & lesbian organization formed to provide its members a gay-friendly atmosphere in which to play and enjoy the game of soccer. We do not discriminate on the basis of gender or sexual orientation and welcome our straight friends. We field teams in local mainstream leagues and play in local, regional, and international tournaments, both gay and mainstream.
