Lobbies the Texas legislature on LGBT issues and publishes OutTexas newsletter.
Dallas Bears formed in 1993 as a social club for bearmen and their admirers in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. We host a variety of events and gatherings each month such from potlucks and 'bear eats' (invading local restaurants) to movies, swim parties, and other entertaining outings. We host the Bear Hunt on the last Sunday of every month at one of our favorite local watering holes, the Dallas Eagle.
Houston is one of the top Pride spots in the USA. Our organization, FlowerCat Productions represent the mature lesbian community. We will have four events during splash beginning May 4th through May 6th. We combine both community and entertainment, providing a safe space for lesbians as well as providing contributions to charity organizations. The Dallas Independent Volleyball Association is a state chartered non-profit corporation. Formed by a small but dedicated group of indoor volleyball enthusiasts in January 1990 with 35 players the first season. Current DIVA membership is approximately 250 people with over 30 teams competing each season.
