A grassroots activist site to educate on the inequity of taxation for gays and lesbians in the US. We are charged first class taxes but denied first class rights by not being able to serve in the armed forces and receive the salaries and benefits paid to straight men and women in uniform. Nor can we receive the benefits accorded to married couples. In fact we subsidize heterosexuals who can take advantage of these rights and benefits.
We are a group of individuals from the Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transgendered community who wish to register our outrage over any possible US/UK military action against Iraq. We are drawn from all walks of life and all political inclinations.
