New Jersey Buddies, founded in 1985, is one of New Jersey's largest volunteer education and support networks for people affected by HIV/AIDS, with over five hundred members. Thousands of individuals with HIV/AIDS, their families, and loved ones have benefited from assistance provided by New Jersey Buddies. Affiliation with New Jersey Buddies does not imply sexual orientation or health status. All services are confidential.
Providing a 'safe space' for lesbians, gay men, bisexuals and transgender people. Offering social programs, services, education and entertainment. Meeting place for over 25 LGBT organizations.
GALY-NJ is a social support network of adult volunteers and young people,``ages 14 - 21. GALY members may self-identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual or be unsure of their sexual orientation.
We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively.
