We, the parents, families and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered persons, celebrate diversity and envision a society that embraces everyone, including those of diverse sexual orientations and gender identities. Only with respect, dignity and equality for all will we reach our full potential as human beings, individually and collectively.

G&M of Washington, DC is a club for chubbies and their admirers to meet face-to-face and socialize in an atmosphere free from prejudice. We have regular parties, usually once a month. Our web site contains our newsletter informing you of the next party and news of general interest to our members, a telephone contact, our mailing address, and our email address. Our web site also contains links to other chubby and bear sites.

The Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender and Ally Resource Center (GLBTA Resource Center) is a University office which works to heighten awareness of issues dealing with sexual orientation. The Center is staffed by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and members of the University administration. The staff provides academic advice, peer support, referrals, and resource information on sexual minority issues.

PETS-DC enables people living with HIV/AIDS to maintain and care for their pets.

The Chesapeake and Potomac Softball League (CAPS) was founded in 1983 to establish a friendly place for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (G/L/B/T) people in the greater Washington/Baltimore metroplitan area to go to play softball, learn and/or enhance softball skills, and meet new people.
