The University of Central Florida (UCF) Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Student Union (GLBSU), is a fellowship of men and women who share the common bond of interest in LBGT concerns. GLBSU was established in 1976 as the Florida Technological University Gay Student Association. In its charter, the Association listed among its original purposes, the ideas of instilling in LBGT people a sense of pride and self worth, as well as promoting a better understanding between all communities.
A social and philanthropic organization for men to promote fellowship and provide a means for its members to identify themselves and socialize regardless of sexual orientation, race, religion, national origin, health status, age, or disabilities.
