The California Men's Gathering
The California Men's Gathering is an extended weekend retreat produced by a group of volunteer planners. It is structured around large Community Events, which everyone attends, and many smaller Workshops you select from a full menu of different choices. The various activities are serious and frivolous, heartfelt, hilarious, scary and exhilarating. There are so many different activities to choose from that your personal experience is always up to you. -
Jeffrey Owens Community Center (JOCC)
The center will offer a secure and safe environment for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender individuals and their allies in the Riverside and San Bernardino areas by fostering involvement between law enforcement, community service groups, schools and religious organizations. The center will empower and strengthen community involvement on issues of diversity and understanding of sexual orientation and gender identity. The center will improve the health and well-being of youth and adults by providing education, youth programs, support groups, counseling, and community outreach. -
