The Chesapeake and Potomac Softball League (CAPS) was founded in 1983 to establish a friendly place for gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered (G/L/B/T) people in the greater Washington/Baltimore metroplitan area to go to play softball, learn and/or enhance softball skills, and meet new people.
We are a student-run undergraduate group with the goal of promoting a positive and supportive atmosphere for the gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and transexual (GLBTT) community and their allies at The George Washington University. Celebrating its 10th year, PEN is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that is for gay, lesbian and advocate professionals in a wide variety of fields. The membership includes over 300 men and women from throughout the metropolitan area. More than 1,200 people attend events throughout the year. PEN members work for business, nonprofit, and government organizations.
