The purpose of the organization is establish and maintain a society of the Deaf in general to encourage and promote the educational, economical, social events and recreational.
The North Georgia Group has been formed to serve the social needs of lesbians and gays of all ages living in North Georgia and surrounding areas. The primary focus of NGG is to provide an environment supporting and empowering lesbians and gays who may feel isolated from those living in the Atlanta (and other large) metro areas. The secondary focus of NGG is to network between lesbian and gay groups via affiliations, to make NGG members aware of the calendar events available from other groups.
